Steps you can take to get involved in voting in a new balanced council

1. Talk to your friends and whānau who are eligible to vote, and make sure they are enrolled.

2. Learn about the voting system we use, so that when the time comes, you know how to vote strategically, effectively and make your vote count.

3. Follow us on social media, and keep an eye on our news page, to learn about potential candidates, how local government effects you, and what the current council is up to.

4. Contact us if you would like to support the Balanced Kaipara committee.

5. Attend local election info meetings to support candidates and learn more about them.

6. Write letters to the editor of local newspapers to express your thoughts and concerns to the district.
